My lawyer sent them back a letter, in legal terms telling them to go fuck themselves. From what I've been told through some mutual friends, Shoemoney just wants to be friends now and wants it to end. He's been telling people that I complied with his demands, which I have done NOTHING of the sort. In fact, he claimed that I edited out the shit on the original thread, which anyone can see that I didn't (use Google cache or any archive service to compare the original posts side by side), and said he was happy with the results (but.. there weren't any) and that it was over with in his eyes (which means if he tries his bullying tactics again, I will rip him a new asshole). He also thanked me for the "traffic" (aka the tremendous amount of people going to his blog to look for lies of his, and bringing them here to poke fun about!). What a dope. Stanley and I were speaking on the phone the other day, and he mentioned "but aren't we going to see Shoemoney at SES NY in a few weeks?" and I said "Yeah, probably, but who cares? What's he going to do? Ask me to rub his head and make a wish for world peace and if I don't, then he's going to send me another C&D?!". Seriously. I'm not afraid of anyone in this industry or others. There's no reason to be. Just like with John Lemp. I'm not afraid of his claims. He's sent me TWO Cease & Decists already last summer threatening me with totally false claims. I made it VERY clear to him, that if he sues me or WickedFire, or anyone on here with anything they've said or written about ClickBooth, that I would NOT back down, for a moment, and that he would literally be fucking himself by persuing it. But I guess he knows better than everyone.

A lot of people have been IM'ing me and emailing me asking me WHY ClickBooth would go as far as to sue me...
The answer is pretty simple. They have lost a TON of business for being on our blacklist. It even says so in the papers I was served with. They acknowledge the fact that if they weren't on our WickedFire Blacklist they would have kept HUNDREDS of partners and affiliates that they have since lost. And yet, they continue to advertise these false claims that they are the largest and highest paying ad network in the industry. Well, how can that be if they are admitting themselves and blaming ME for hurting their business beyond repair? That sounds like they are close to being shut down in my opinion. The reason though is that John Lemp is a liar. Plain and simple. Has always been a liar, and most likely WILL always be a liar. I'm not making it up either. He's been on the Spammer ROKSO and SPAMHAUS/SPAMCOP list for nearly a decade. He used to work at CPA EMPIRE but got FIRED because he STOLE database lists from them. MOVED down to Florida, started "IntegraClick" and spun off ClickBooth from it. Has since treated affiliates like shit, by lying to them and cheating them over and over. Sorry John, but as much as you want to blame me for defamation of character, and as much as I want to take credit for it, YOU have done more damage to yourself and your own character and industry credibility than I ever could. So let's get that straight. Instead of suing me and blaming ME for why Revenue Magazine refuses to take your advertisements anymore, why don't you ask them for the reason. I know Lisa pretty well, and she's a tough lady and not afraid of you one bit. So ask her why they refuse to allow a shady network like ClickBooth try and attract more affiliates and advertisers through Revenue Mag! How is this MY fault?? You fucking asshole. Look at the other forums. Look at what other people write about your network. Look at what affiliates who have trusted you and have been burned by you have been saying. Again, how is this Jon Fisher's fault? Listen here John Lemp, you FAT (and you can't sue me for calling you fat, because you definitely are overweight compared to the US Dept of Health's avg of what someone your age and height should weigh) FUCK... You can take me to court, and you will see your entire industry credibility get washed down the drain over and over again. Your company as well. I am prepared to make this as public as possible. Even if by some miracle act of God you win, I promise you that other people will pick up from where I left off. Even if I go broke (very doubtful) from lawsuits from you or any other bully in the industry that thinks they can get away with lying and cheating and then suing ME or WICKEDFIRE to shut us up, you are soooo wrong. Times have changed. And you should know damn well that the more you try and fight it, the more it will hurt you. So perhaps instead of trying to fight us, you stop lying and cheating people. I don't get what's so hard about realizing and admitting that you have done wrong and changing your ways?! But hey, what do I know, I'm just a skinny Jewboy from NYC that is full of himself and does this all for attention right? I hate this attention. I wish other people would get it. I don't even like being involved.. but people like you force me to come in and be vocal because there is only so much someone can take until they crack and let it all out. So keep pushing me and others around, and you will see just how long you and your company of lies lasts for. You advertise all over Shoemoney's site, Amit the Camel's site, and other places. And just how credible are these other places? Hmmm.. Seems to me they are all of the ones that don't have a clue as to what's going on, or they themselves cater to the naive. Hey, if that's the route you want to go, by all means, go for it. Because after this is settled, that's the only route you'll have left to persue. So kiss all of your business and industry credibility GOOD-FUCKIN-BYE with any real worthy affiliates and advertisers. PS - A big thank you to all of the networks, affiliates, and mailers who have dropped ClickBooth as clients and/or partners over the last year. I can assure you, you are not only doing a favor to yourselves and to our community here for it, but for the industry as a whole. You'll see that it doesn't pay to be associated with a group of liars and cheaters/scammers like John Lemp and IntegraClick and ClickBooth. You can make far more money without them, and also not attract insane negative exposure like the stuff that has already started to happen because of them making the big mistake of trying to shut us up. My only warning, is that if you are owed any money by ClickBooth, you collect it ASAP. Because it's better to not be associated with a company that is going to be attracting lots of government related attention as to how claims of hundreds of millions of dollars failed to be reported to the US government... See Lemp, I can play dirty too. I'll see you in court tough guy.

Jon --- you are taking the right approach. If anyone shady ever sues you and you dont back down, all their business will be open to the courts for evidence. The guy is either bluffing, or a complete fool because anything Clickbooth may have done wrong, will come out in this civil suit, and can be used in a criminal case and/or by the FTC.
This is an open forum, and you have the right to allow certain people and companies in it as you choose as long as you do not discrimate based on race, sex, age, etc. If you do not want what you view as shady companies, or less than honest individuals, you have every right to ban them, and share your opinion about them. This lawsuit will not work out so well for this guy if dozens or hundreds of affiliates line up with testimonies of fraud, lack of payment, etc. Wow this is a dumb move -- especially trying to go after an aggressive guy like you who has a huge voice in our industry. So many bad moves by so many companies in our space -- that is why I LOVE KARMA! |
