How to I break away from the computer to get things more balanced? I was thinking about getting a kitchen timer for next to my computer. What do some of the WF members do?

Lately I have found time flying as I work on an internet project. I'm starting to see a little increase in income from my work, so it's even harder to stop! Before I know it, I'm rushing around getting ready for work and wishing I could stay home to work on my internet projects so I don't need 2 wage earning jobs.

That's what I do and I write an approx time for each task to target.

Yup pretty much.

I'll work 20 hour days for weeks on end until I get everything going smooth. Then don't do shit but refresh stats for a couple weeks

I just get off the computer, turn it off, and don't switch it back on. Temptations too great to "just get an extra 10 minutes" done.
That's why you guys don't see me here on weekends. That's -unwired- time.

My advice is to work as hard as you can now, so you can relax later. It's important to take breaks, rest and replenish your mind, but you've got to stay focused and on-task if you want to take your business to the next level.

I agree with Paul and aim. Really the best way to go. Make a lot of coffee.

You're not hardcore until you realize you have a laptop in your bathroom.

I don't like schedules. (I tend to rebel against authority and rules, even my own.) I like to work when I feel like it (which could be 10 hours straight) and do something else when I don't. You'll know when you need a break and then you'll break.
