I just got banned from paypal without warning...

What did I do ? well, I had affiliate banners on one of my site and I got paid my commission ONCE through paypal... of course what I was advertising wasnt totally "pure" from a Christian point of view, but its fucking legal man... its legal everywhere around the world, especially in the us, there are stores that specialise in that niche, thousands if not millions. Why the fuck does Paypal has to come and close my account when im not doing anything illegal ?
I emailed them and this is what they told me :

Please remove all references to PayPal from your website(s) and/or auction(s). This includes not only removing PayPal as a payment option, but also the PayPal logo and/or shopping cart.

Bullshit this is sooooooooooooooo gay man... I fucking hate "Policies" ...
So according to this i wont ever be able to use paypal again... even if i use an other email... I dont know how they will detect that, perhaps if I use the same Name, or address, or bank information, or credit card ?

Has this happened to anyone else ?

You cannot receive payment for some things, though they may be legal, with PayPal. Porn is one of them. PayPal apparently does not like it when you sell adult products and receive your payment through them.

There's always Google Checkout.

Yeahhh but banning without warning is lame...
I mean, they know that 80% of people wont go read the full terms and aggreement blabla... why is the ban for LIFE, wtf you can kill someone in rl and be back on the streets a few years later, but advertise legal stuff on paypal and receive payment from advertiser and ure banned... FOREVER.

just shows they dont care about their customers... evil corporation.

I agree it is fucked up that they didn't warn you and gave you a pretty shitty response.

I sold some adult DVDs on eBay and got a warning from PayPal about that. I guess I just got lucky....

I've had my share of problems with them through my life..
well it just sucks..

It's actually the credit card companies that put the pressure on paypal.

Try gettting a merchant account for a porn business.... good luck with that.... have fun with the high up-front and annual fees if you are lucky enough to get approved... then the chargebacks, etc will kill you.

There is massive fraud in the industry and its just not worth it for them.
