Just saw a thread on here about sleep yesterday and it inspired me to write a blog post about when I was a polyphasic sleeper (Slept for 30 minutes every 4 hours).

Anyways, when I did this experiment back about 3 years ago life got incredibly dull at nights. In order to keep busy I started making websites and learning what got me where I am today. I also worked out for about 2 hours and started playing electric guitar. Looking back I could have done some cooler things. If you were starting this psycho sleep schedule, what would y'all do with your extra free time?

I really get a lot more done. I usually have 2-3 hours downtime before i pass out for 8 hours or so. Shit... i'd be rich!

Wow, I sat here and read all those Steve Pavlina entries. I might give this a try at the end of the summer (can't see it mixing well with backpacking). Even if it's just for 6 months or a year, it's like having twice that amount of time.

Funny thing is that even he gave it up.

He was bored out of his head and being really out of sync with the rest of the world didn't help much either.

Used to like the guy, but he has gone off the faaaar end with his "the Secret" inspired drivel.
