I was watching the History channel and they were talking about how the Earth reverses it's poles every 25,000 years. Yea, well, they are scheduled to reverse in 2012, the same time the Mayan calendar ends.

Personally, I hope aliens become known to exist. The shifting poles doesn't sound like too much fun.

-shoddy chinese nuclear power plant construction fails killing us all...
-giant meteor impact kills us all...

I love how much further the book's version of Tyler's prophetic monologue goes. Great, great author. I read Survivor, which was hilarious in a twisted way, but have yet to tackle Choke. I've read some excepts and they're fucking sidesplitting.
