Well, I come here for info, the other forums I go to get hitched up with new sub-affiliates.

I'm surprised that Revenue Source is on there.
It's great for aggregating news and blogs, but every other section of the forum is dead or spamtastic.

I'm amazed DP makes it to #2, simply on the basis of the amount of noise on the forum. A forum isn't useful if you can't find the informative posts, and whilst there ARE SOME on DP, they get buried so fast and have so many stupid replies I'm fairly certain the people with some decent info to share give up.

And TWF being #3, or on the list at all, is just dumb. It's NOT an Affiliate forum... It's a ClickBank circle jerk and incest-fest.
Other than the copy writing section, the entire site is useless unless you've got a scammy WSO... like "How to Make a Top Selling WSO"...

The only reason I see to be professional on a forum is if you're either trying to sell something or sell yourself. Wickedfire members aren't really after each others money or professional admiration so it's kinda mute.

If we had a bigger marketplace like dp or sitepoint or warrior there'd probably be a lot more bitching about nonprofessionalism from other members. Personally I like it best when everyone is just themselves.

I'm glad this forum is #8.

So I visit Sitepoint and the first aff post I read is from some guy "giving away" his 101 secrets e-book and some other stuff. No ban hammer, just fawning n00bs.

I have the sense here that the WF forum is about making money. Not talking about making money -- actually doing it, with the realization that one just might have to do some work to get there.

And that's why I keep coming back.

I will say that since I joined WF, I went from 0$ to actually getting a campaign going that's pulling in conversions, which is far better than I've done before. Feel free to put that in the testimonials box on the WF landing page. :-)

Speaking of, one of the best sigs here introduced me to the Firefox LeechBlock plugin and that's made me FAR more productive.

All I know about this guy is that he's been running a bunch of diet offers through Advalant lately, and also runs 2 different offers (wu-yi and ultra green tea) on the same keywords. I wonder if he found out about those offers from... WickedFire?

I figured you weren't trying to hide it. I found out about those offers from Geoff's posts here, so I wondered if you had, as well.

I do quite a bit competitive research, especially in the diets industry, so I try to keep on top of who (either named, or just which unknown entities) are playing in certain areas.
