Ok, I know most of you aren't call center gurus, but most of you are marketing gurus so I need some advice or info.
I was approached by a woman whose sister owns a call center facility(who is doing the marketing of it). She heard that I managed a call center back in the states 10 years ago. She needs help finding clients to utilize the facility. She's tried using a some local agents in the past to help her locate US clients, but it hasn't been affected. It's a mid size call center with 60 some seats. Finding agents with good English skills isn't a problem since it's near a major university and it has a couple of good affiliations. The pricepoint for an agent is about $300 to $350 a month for 40 hours a week. Right now, the place is completely idle and rent is being paid on an unutilized call center. The owners are open to another use of the facility. I should also add that each seat is the call center has desktop workstation with VOIP and internet access. I'd like to help them get the call center up and rolling. A few ideas that I have are CS operations for SME's, appointment setting, surveys, lead generation, virtual assistants, etc. Anyone got any better idea? If you had this opportunity, what would you do with it? |

Virtual assistants are a good idea for you, just look at that term in google trends. I don't know if it's because of that book Tim Ferris wrote, but a lot of people are looking for that now.
Virtual receptionists, virtual assistants, order processors for dropship businesses, etc.
