I've been through this shit with child protective services before (I was the child)... and the amount of bullshit and lies that these "protectors of the children" fabricate to try and win cases is insane - not to mention the rampant abuse of your rights as a US citizen.

Personally, I like the idea of living in a place where police are not allowed to just walk into my house and start looking around without identifying who they are, or worse yet, giving a false identity.

Fortunately for the social worker, the adoption agencies make bank from the state too - so they can pawn off your kids quick, especially if they're young. Should I mention all of the studies regarding increased abuse in foster homes, or the story of the children "adopted" out of Vermont to a prostitution ring?

Why did it all start? Because your neighbor doesn't like you, or your in-laws don't like you, and they placed a little call to the local CPS nazis.

Fuck that shit - this needs to go back to being a police matter, where rules of evidence matter, and citizens retain their rights. If CPS or some other family court agency ever shows up at your door, remember to tell them politely to fuck off and get a warrant. Never let them into your house.

Yeah, the only difference is that police are (in most cases) restrained by law, where social workers prance merrily around all over your rights if given the opportunity.
