Vent Chrome Browser and Facebook Ads

The two don't go together so well:

1. It's impossible to delete campaigns.
2. The little magnifying glass to quickly adjust bids no longer work.

It's still a great browser though.

Hmmm...I hadn't noticed that. I'm still getting used to this thing. I don't know. Something about Big Brother, er Big G, watching that makes me nervous.

Personally, I'm not gonna support google with this. They really are trying to take over the internet.

Google backs Firefox so it can be the default search engine in the left hand search box and also the default search engine for Firefox's homepage.

You're still a fucking moron.

My point is Google has it's hand in everything already. People that complain and say "I won't use it, Google is trying to take over the Internet" are probably all using something created by Google.

Fine, so you use Opera, what search engine do you use? E-mail? Contextual ad program?

Without Google, the Internet would be a very different place.

Now go away.

Yeah but FireFox makes some serious fuckin bank from their agreement with Google. They cut a deal either right when they first launched or a few months after. Since they used Google as the default search engine, they were being paid per SEARCH not click!! Then they were also getting paid for the installs of Google/Firefox buttons (no longer available with Google).

I don't think Google is going to do very well with this browser, or at least, I hope they don't. They should just listen to what people keep telling them and to what they seem to keep ignoring.. STICK TO SEARCH YOU RETARDS!

I like the technology behind chrome and hope that firefox rewrites itself and uses it in Firefox 4. Otherwise Chrome is still missing too many features for me to switch.

I disagree with Jon for permanent real.

Give me a break... if Android was never announced do you think Apple would have been so aggressive with the App Store? Would Symbian Foundation have formed? Would all these great mobile developments be in the works? NO. Android was the catalyst for mobile revolution that gives power to consumers... and takes it from the wireless carriers.

Chrome is no different. Why can't Google use their resources to extend their product line? It's a LOGICAL transition and one that will AID their other products. They are setting the pace for innovation right now and the competition they create makes products, across the board, better. Even if you don't choose theirs... they are a part of the reason your "choice" is better.

How could anyone possibly to tell them to STICK TO SEARCH when they already have 80% of the search market? When you dominate so incredibly, you HAVE to be looking for other growth areas. They would be stupid not to.

The areas of growth they've chosen to pursue with Android and Chrome DIRECTLY benefit their search objectives. And on top of all of this, they really do put users/customers and the experience at the top of the priority list.

And yeah, I do have some personal benefit in Google's products succeeding but if I didn't believe in them to begin with... that wouldn't be the case.
