We brought Alaska in as the 49th state with an eye to the future due to their natural resources. It's time to cash in thanks to rising gas prices & the dependence we have on the middle east and she's leading the parade.

There's more but that's the main thing she can do help the American people out. Even Obama has changed his stance on drilling in Alaska due to her so I hear ...

If you watched Obama at all you would see the difference between him and Palin.

Obama faced with a difficult question is , um... errr.... ah... measured in what ...he... he... says. With a script he is magnificent.

Palin is just as bright but knows what she knows. She gave half her speech to the RNC without a script, the teleprompter fucked up.

Obama is also a climber who radiates faux superiority. Palin is what she is. Not many preconceptions and of the common stock. She would rather be shopping at Walmart than 5th avenue.

Americans appreciate that. And that is why Palin is changing the dynamic of the election. The anointed one is in a gun fight and he brought a knife.

There is no question McCain brought her on to be a puppet or mascot of sorts. However, as this thread suggests, she has grown more popular than he in many ways.

This all boils down to votes. The 40+ demographics votes at a much higher percent than does the under 40, and account for a larger % of the potential voters. By bringing her on board they now have the support of 1> elders (McCain) 2> vets (McCain) 3> republicans nationwide (default) 4> soccer moms (Palin) 5> horny dads (Palin) 6> religious nuts (Palin)

Not to mention many random women and gas price concerned folk across the nation thanks to Palin. It's looking like McCain/Palin will pull over 50% of the popular vote ... which will be good enough give them a double digit win.

Pretty sad for you democrats since McCain is a relatively weak candidate.
