Thought I would hit WickedFire with some dirty news.

Adam Dufresne, one of the affiliate managers at MaxBounty, was charged with possessing child pornography September 3rd. Remember this is only charges, he has not been prosecuted yet... but you find child porn in a house... you obviously have possession of it.

An Ottawa man is facing charges after police executed a search warrant at a Kanata residence and seized a computer and various DVDs and CDs with child pornographic material.

The police investigation was a co-ordinated effort between Ottawa police, the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

Adam Dufresne, 26, of Ottawa, is charged with possession of child pornography.

It's easy enough to wipe a hard drive, but even if you physically destroy a disk, you can still get data off of it.

The question here is what they consider to be child pornography. If it was a 2 year old getting ass raped by a 60 year old, then by all means, cut his head off. But if it was two 15 year olds getting it on, it shouldn't even be a big deal.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's hard to tell in some cases if the chick is underage or not, and unless it's very obviously child porn, I think that a charge should be situational.

Fuck, with so many 15-17 year old chicks being dumbasses with digital cameras and webcams, and then so many of those videos somehow becoming distributed, it's like a minefield when you're downloading porn off of torrents/limewire.

About Adam, this is unfortunate, but remember that he has not been proven guilty, charges have only been laid. It's very possible that he was unaware of age, or a file that was attached to something else he downloaded, or a wrong file name or whatever. He definitely didn't seem like the type to do something like this.
