Anyone who watches major news networks probably wouldn't hear about this but are you aware..

THE U.S. IS GOING UNDER MATIAL LAW!!!!

My guess is they keep it that way, postpone the election and make bush the first Dictator of America

. For those of you who laughed, there is actaully a possibility of this happening under martial law, plain and simple.

PLEASE research this i am not joking there is something huge happening in our country right now and its going on in the shadows, please make yourself aware. search for some youtube videos. I can't find it anymore(interesting) but there was one put up yesterday of a member of congress talking about this, im sure more will be put up but also brought down quick.

AS OF OCTOBER 1st, anyone that is deamed a threat to the government is fucked! They are bring in trained troops to deal with croud control and civil unrest.....yes they are EXPECTING AND GETTING READY FOR civil unrest. Members of congress had a secret meeting where they were told safe places to go if and when the public reacts, this was leaked by the very few who have morals and know this info needs to be made public.

You pulled the Fire Alarm... but there is no fire.

First of all you're taking what he said out of context, I believe he was talking in reference to the current state of affairs between Republicans and Democrats in the House being a state of "Martial Law".

Second of all, you're blowing it out of proportion. The government has had troops in the United States that oversee what typical "Martial Law" is supposed to enforce since 2002:

If the government announced an ACTUAL state of Martial Law and decided to enforce that power, it would be that announcement in and of itself that would create the need for it. People would respond to that change.

But this is a false alarm... And I thought the MAIN stream media was bad... if I'm wrong I'll gladly admit it but I think this story is being grossly misrepresented.

Agreed. In congressional terminology, "martial law" is when the speaker forces a vote without giving members ample time to review the item and its implications, or to leave to do research. It basically amounts to forcing a bill through because they have no idea what they're really voting on.

This is precisely why I own Ruger .22 (haha), a Mauser 8mm bolt action rifle (snip people from long distances.. hehe), double barrel over under 12 gauge shotgun, New England break action 12 gauge shotgun single shot (this shotgun kicks like a mule and laid me on my ass the first time I shot it), Marlin 30/30 Lever action (fuck yeah), Ruger Revolver, Walther p99, and lastly a 45 Colt. I'm still looking for more.

If and when something like this happens I am fully prepared.

Defence against your own government is this most convincing argument for gun ownership I have heard, but if it really came down to it would you pull the trigger when faced with some kid from your home town - in a uniform, blindly following orders because he knew no better?

Still - the reference your referring to related to congress only. It basically "forces" the republicans to vote and not filibuster.

Uh yes, I would. Although, I'd only shoot someone if I felt that I was at harm. And my gun ownership has nothing to do with defense against the government. Our second amendment permits US citizens to own firearms and so I gladly have purchased them not because I'm paranoid but because I'm twenty, a female, and live on my own. If someone were to walk into my house I wouldn't be hesitant to pull my shotgun down from the closet and lay into the mother f'r. Furthermore, I enjoy shooting guns, it relieves a lot of frustration and stress.
