Riding the Bank Wave
WaMu has fallen. Wachovia is teetering on the edge. The rest of us are riding the wave to graceland. Remember, the average investor makes money when the market is growing. The savvy investor makes money all the time.
If you're not investing in Wells Fargo, or Chase, or Bank of America as every rich person imagineable who realizes that $100k FDIC insurance isn't going to cut it and moves out from local and failing banks to these guys with track records you're missing out. Conceivably we can't buy hundreds of thousands of mortgages for pennies on the dollar, but we can invest in savvy banks who take advantage of the situation. S1ick |
