Is there a blog theme out there similar to the one from 15k challenege?
http://www.15kchallenge.com/blog/ most of the themes I have seen from searching on google are pretty lame... |

The $15k challenge is just a simple 1-column theme. This site has a ton of WP themes that would probably fit your needs.
