Pretty sad.. I've done this many times.. we'd sign bullshit names as a joke just to see what they'd say and nothing is ever mentioned.. I don't even remember being asked for an ID once ever in my life using a CC at a food service place.

eh, I signed the back of my credit card as 'Check ID' but nobody ever does.

Its all a bogus waste of time. Most places don't even require a signature under $25.00 any more. Fraud is just the cost of doing business versus convienence.
