If a keyword on google adwords' keyword tool gets 150,000 searches every month on google, does anyone have have any stats for how many people type in those keywords followed by .com in their browser?

but what i am looking for is type-in traffic.. in the address bar of the browser.
say the 3 keywords in a domain gets 300,000 searches a month on google, i'm wondering how many people actually type in those keywords in their address bar and put .com at the end of it thanks

i realize that but some people have been saying you can expect 1 type per day in for every 1k visitors per month. others say 2-3 typeins, etc. theres no definitive way to determine this but surely there are ways to at least estimate

The way you do it is you test it out. Find a set of phrases you want to target, get the corresponding domains, track your type ins for a month or two and then you'll have some figures you can apply to future projects. You should also keep in mind what kind of people type in (I'm not sure, but I'm guessing older, computer-unsavvy people so target the keywords they'd be looking for).
