Elite XC, which produced seven of the 10 most-watched MMA matches in U.S. history on two CBS specials in recent months, will be closing its doors at the end of the week. This leaves a roster of fighters, including top draws Kimbo Slice and Gina Carano, looking for work in a constricted environment.

Maybe that Brock/Kimbo fight could happen if Slice ends up in the UFC - even though White doesn't want him

There's something to be said of celebrity. I mean how many matchups did Dana White give Ken Shamrock just because he was a big draw?

People will bitch though.

Dana White did say he doesn't care about Kimbo. But imagine the publicity. Let say Brock loses to Randy Couture next month. It would be perfect set up, and Im sure Dana W understand theres money to be made.

All the reality show guys get to fight even though most probably shouldnt. Alot of people know who kimbo is, and will pay to watch
