Ebooks Can anyone recommend some economics/investing books?

I'm gonna pick up Freakonomics, but can you guys recommend me some interesting economics/investing stuff? Hopefully stuff that's written in a somewhat interesting manner.

I'm looking to invest some money into stocks, but I also just find the stuff interesting, so any recommendations would be awesome.

Not specifically about stocks, but full of all the PRINCIPLES you need: The Richest Man in Babylon. Also, read The Millionaire Next Door.

Those two will give you a great foundation.

I started with "How to Make Money in Stocks" by William J Oneil. This guy was the founder of inventors business daily.

Both books recommended above are great, they give you a good mind set.

The Motley Fool Investment Guide. It's well written and interesting, and it makes several good points. Good for both beginners and more seasoned investors.

economics is kinda of dry, but if you want to spice it up, i recommend freakonomics, i dont really read and that book kept me going, with investing just watch mad money and diversify it.

I agree that The Millionaire Next Door is an excellent book, and I try to follow the principles outlined in the text (although it comes off as contrary to the mindset and lifestyles of most affiliate marketers). My personal opinion of what to buy: oil company stocks. I think the price of oil is going to skyrocket in a few months.
