No big deal. Evidently Obama doesn't know that socialism has been experimented with for hundreds of years and it has failed (even here in the US) time and time again. Yet he wants to risk our economy trying it once again.

Or you could look at it like Thomas Jefferson did. He stated that he would rather put a farmer in government than a politician.

The video was correct. Palin would have won him the election if it wasn't for the economy failure. This lost the ellection for the Rebublicans, even though Barny Fudd and the Democrats were more responsible for the economy than Bush.

I have a feeling Obama wont accomplish shit in the next four years. The real world unfortunately isn't all theory. Plus he doesn't really have the right experience or economic fundamentals. I have a feeling the real estate and mortgage melt down will continue for the next 2-4 years, maybe around 2010 will start to see some light. But new construction wont recover for years (lots of jobs there). Meanwhile most people I talked to that supported Obama are expecting something from him now. If he doesn't deliver he wont get reelected. People voted for the idea of Obama, after the last 4 years I can understand why some needed a messiah. I'm waiting for the Republicans to get back to their core values. 53 to 46 popular vote is pretty close with a McCain campaign that was ran like shit.

Republicans don't give a shit about facts or even being correct. Bush once referred to Africa as a country. These are the type of people Republicans identify with. Intellectualism is a dirty word to them and they like to keep things simple. In fact, go back through videos of Palin's speeches and you'll hear her refer to herself as a simple person.

This is all amazing when you consider that the US was conceived of and implemented by intellectuals of their day who pretty much read, wrote, and embraced the enlightenment.

Sarah reminds me of the girl I dated in college. Perky, bright in more of an "emotional intelligence" not book intelligence way. Insanely popular gal who had a huge circle of friends.
