Here's the deal..

Spoke to Shawn and worked out a deal for 25 Silver passes for the Affiliate Summit West 2009 show to give out to our members. Except it comes with a clause. He says that everyone getting one of these passes has to book at The Rio for their room in their room block. If the room block is full, then you're fine to book wherever you like. He wants to do it this way because they are held liable for rooms that aren't booked in their block of discounted rooms by show time and have to pay up for it. I completely understand it and don't blame him for asking either, considering Vegas doesn't exactly have a limited supply of places to stay.

Also consider that the Adult show, Internext is going to be going on during the same time Affiliate Summit is going on, and since they attract over 50,000 people to their shows, you should expect a likely possibility of most rooms selling out in most of the hotels on the strip. So even if you're not getting a free pass from us or planning on being at the Rio, you should book now before its too late.

For those of you who don't want to stay at the Rio but still want a pass, we're going to setup some type of discount for you.

The rules are the same as always.. YOU MUST BE AN AFFILIATE TO GET ACCESS TO THESE PASSES -- if you're an advertiser, consultant, network rep, whatever else, they'll void your pass at the show and you'll have to buy one on the spot (if there are any avail for like $300-$500).

If you are willing to stay at the Rio, and want these passes, just shoot me a PM with your info so I can get a head count to see if we need to get more passes or not.

Please don't PM me with a story, I'm not your fuckin therapist.

just to clarify, Internext itself is pretty small...couple of thousand people at most. the Adult Enterntainment Expo (AEE) which is run by AVN magazine (who also do Internext) is the big one where all the fans go meet the porn stars at. Internext is basically for adult website owners and adult affliate companies, etc.

Ah yeah I made a mistake, but even so, Internext, at least when I went back in the day was pretty massive for an adult website owner conference. I know the AVN Expo or whatever they call it now is fucking massive. Although the biggest conference I've ever been to was CES, now that my friends is a motherload conference.

We'll start giving out passes to those members who requested them, have already booked at the Rio under the ASW bank of rooms, and who are the most active contributors here first. After that round, we'll give them out to the rest of you who have booked with the Rio under the ASW bank of rooms.

Booking under the ASW bank of rooms, and being a WickedFire member guarantees you a free pass to the show. So just pm me your general details so ASW folks can verify you've booked and confirm.

For those of you who are not staying at the Rio and are active contributing members of WickedFire I'm trying to get more passes for you guys.

WickedFire staff members ALWAYS get free passes, so you guys are in the clear. Post in the staff area if you're coming so I can get a headcount of you guys.

If you're a WickedFire member, and you don't end up getting a free pass, there will be unique discount codes for you guys, so that you don't have to pay full price.

Internext is fun to go to if you do adult websites. i've been a couple of times and always went to the CES as they always overlapped.

going to try to make it out for Affiliate Summit this time - never been to a mainstream affiliate conference before.
