Hell ya, its commercials kinda like that , that actually convinced me to buy a 600$ T-Fal pressure cooker set back when I was 19, making 60K a year and living alone.

Course heeding the advice of the infomercial a little too much, thinking I could just throw shit into a pot, and then come back and have finished chili within half an hour... I got a little caught up on the computer and didn't come back to the pressure cooker til maybe 3 hours later.

Now days... they're just simply funny to watch.

Mine is a step up - very name brand: Pampered Chef. In my defense it was a gift, it's easy to clean, and I used to scrape the wallpaper border off in my son's room before we moved. It's very versatile.
