Wfexclusive Lightning Round #6 is LIVE Now!!!!!!!!

Alright boys and girls, let's start this lightning round in pure WF fashion.. get your questions ready, and when you see the post "BEGIN" then start letting your questions fly!

WF Lightning Round Rules:
+ Remember to read the other questions first and make sure you aren't posting the same thing twice.
+ Keep your questions short, simple, and sweet.
+ Don't ask me personal questions or questions about my projects that you already know will not get an answer to.
+ Try and keep your questions flowing and easy to read.

I'm gearing up for it, and we will start shortly.

The concept of arbitrage pages has also confused me (as If I need to be confused any further)

One page wonders or 5-10 page sites?

Or was the KISS principle, which recommends 5-10 sites, not geared at arbitrage?

your questions does not lead to an answer. since by definition working on multiple content sites at a time you wouldn't finish one by one. that would be doing one site at a time, not multiple.

Orly

subdomains for each niche on one fancy domain or a domain for each niche?

is scraping via RSS worth it?

concentrate on one niche ie, VoIP and all its sub niches; software, hardware, etc. or target multiple broad high paying niches?

Is there any money in porn?

what is the best way to monetize a entertainment/news/video blog? Keep in mind there is no unique content.

What are some niches that you would recommend a new person starting out?

What resources really helped you get started in arbi/MFA sites?

I'm not going to be around for this, so could someone ask the following question for me please:

Quote:

Regarding your KISS Method on your blog, could you give an example of a niche (pick any niche) and how you'd divide up your site based on that niche

concentrate on one niche ie, VoIP and all its sub niches; software, hardware, etc. or target multiple broad high paying niches?

Is there any money in porn?

what is the best way to monetize a entertainment/news/video blog? Keep in mind there is no unique content.
Try to keep it one question per post.. jesus.

1- It depends on the niche and how many good phrases or subniches there are. Typically if it's a content driven network, I'd go with a bit of both. Mix it up, no need to do just one or the other.

2- Yes, RSS is very powerful and I'm a big fan of scraping, but give links back to the author too.

3- Um.. sure?

4- There will always be money in porn, it's just not as easy or as cheap to make it like it was back in the day.

5- Something that focuses on CPM or something that will appease the users, perhaps a newsletter or contextual ads. You can also have them see one of those preview ads that adbrite pushes.

Content, not search.

::emp::
4-5 paragraphs of content with no more than 3 adsense ads in it. Put the ads as close to the content as possible, and use images that are small and content relevant over the ads to increase CTR's (not illegal with adsense), also put a 1 pixel border around them to keep yourself safe just in case. Make the ads look like content, and use the 468/728 ads in between the paragraphs of content.

You mean 3 ads total rather than 3 ad units, right?
