Just changed from the Treo 755p to the BB Curve 8330. Email on the Treo blew, on the BB it's amazing. The BB has it's annoyances from stuff it's missing that the Treo had, but overall it's a solid phone.

g1 ftw! Gotta love the native gmail application. I rooted my g1 and tried out the latest build of android on haykuros blog and its teh sex. g1 is so much faster. Give android until the end of the year the user base and developer base will grow exponentially. wait till samsung comes out with snapdragon devices then the iphone will look like shit.

Palm Pre is out soon. It's interface looks cool as shit. Multitasking and All Web based OS. I think it might be a contender.

i have a generic lg phone packaged with verizon. i was stoked about the iphone until at&t said i had to give them a 750 dollar deposit because i apparently don't pay my bills "on time".

BB Curve ... waiting for sprint to catch up and get a new BB soon or I am going to switch over to ATT for the Bold.

Is the Blackberry Bold one of the best choices at the moment for our needs? (stats, checking the usual sites etc)

Being in Australia we might have slightly different models here, not sure.

But the Bold looks awesome, just having trouble finding a decent plan to go with it as I dont live in a major city so 3G is not widely available grrr
