I developed an app that would talk to a Linksys router as a receiver for the purpose of flying R/C ... with my iPhone. Its a little technical but worth a look I think.

awesome idea. I'll pass this on to my brother-in-law. he's into that kind of stuff. BTW, the font color on your blog is really tough to read. Might want to change that to black instead of grey

Now...can you make an app to control a roof mounted airsoft minigun? I tried hooking it through a motion detector but it shot down about 10 ducks and I had to explain to my landlord why a small army of wounded ducks were shitting all over his newly planted grass.

I love the idea..

Enigma - can you control the plan by tilting the ipone, or are the controls on the screen?

If so, imagine hooking a mini-cam up to that plane and put the video on the iphone, so you can see from the plane's perspectice.. I've seen R/C planes (trains and automobiles) with remote cams, and it's pretty damn cool.. if you could put that video on the iphone streaming somehow, and control the R/C device with the iPhone's accelerometer, imagine the possibilities and potential market..

LOVE the idea, great work, hope to be able to see your vid soon, but your site still appears to be down.

It has a motion detector and shoots whatever moves? As badass as that may be if someone came onto your property and got shot you would be looking at felony jail time. Wouldn't matter one bit what signs you have up or that they were trespassing.

In the US as least, if you live else where I don't know the laws.

Every once in a while I come across an idea that I think is really stupid yet I want one at the same time.

The awsomeness of the WARNING sign I would make to put on my front yard alone would make it worth the effort.
