Fuck it. I've been waiting for Duke Nuke Forever since 1997. Now it looks like all of the Duke Nuke Forever jokes are turning into reality, DNF might turn out to be the ultimate vaporware after all.

Yeah. I even got a Christmas card from '99 which says DNF will be coming out in 2000.

And, somewhere in 2002, I was online on the 3D Realms forums when the "Soon" thread got locked.

Dang it ............i was hoping for a new duke nukem.

The problem with studios is the same problem lots of websites have........poor monetization.

EA is loosing TONS of money due to how large of a staff they have building new games (That vegas game cost em over $50m to bring out) Compared to smaller studios (like valve) that can build a game for a few Mill and be profitable on it.

If the Chair Story is to be believed, the whole point of DNF never coming out was viral marketing for the engine. If so, expect to see someone else pick up the property and just keep doing the same thing.
