These days, there seem to be just two reasons to start a website: one is to promote yourself. (See Tequila, Tila.)
The other is taking down the self-promoters. (See Hilton, Perez. Or actually: don't.)
And since Twitter has done such a good job for the former, it was only a matter of time before someone got around to creating a Twitter-specific version of the latter.
