We lost 7 games by 4 points or less (6 by 3 or less). We could easily get 12 or 13 wins this season.

I don't think Cutler will necessary take you backwards, but he's young, he hasn't impressed me at all but everyone else jizzes in their pants over him.

From the vague OP, Oprah's lawyers are going after false advertising, unwanted publicity, commercial association, deception etc. from the the misuse of Oprah on affiliate campaigns? Is there anything else going on?

Pretty foreseeable, and instead of widely hunting all violators, it looks like they brought an order to the attorney general for swifter action, bigger scare, and the ability to cast a wide net and dig into violator information.

Usually when this happens, the lawyers/agencies have been collecting information on violators for a while.

Are the nature of the subpeonas purely for the usage of Oprah in campaigns?

Pure assumption- I know nothing of this- but I see a great deal of difference between a FLOG with disclaimers and a headline of "OMG Readz My Weight Loss Storiez!" and one with "<celeb's name>'s Miracle Diet" with the facebook image being their face and comments beyond 'I saw this on _____' or an embedded youtube vid on the lander.

And no- we all know Getty didn't license that face to you to use in that manner.

I bet that's at the root of this. At least candidly I hope so.

It was only a matter of time before Harpo took action, affiliates really should start getting more creative and stop ripping each other's ads/copy/landing pages. Yes you can still get a good CTR without using Oprah and yes you can still get a 10%-15% conversion rate without having to use flogs, review pages or "endorsed by Oprah" in your ad copy.

On a side note, I didn't realize Illinois had so many affiliates
