Photos were on the front page of Thai Rath (biggest Thai newspaper) a few days ago.

There are photos like those in Thai Rath every day, some time ago they covered the front page with photos of some poor guy that had fallen into a giant meat grinder and died...

They don't say it's a fake, here's their explanation of the dark skin (No mention of why the dark hair though.)

"Discoloration of the skin on the lower extremities indicates he had been dead for hours before being found, according to people familiar with the situation."

The family's response:

I would have to agree that the published photo was a fake.

I enjoyed watching him as Kwai Chang Caine in the Kung Fu series.
