If you're wondering why the FTC is going after bizopp advertisers, it's probably shit like this. Basically, not only does the advertiser rebill the customer, they use their credit card info to sign them up for other, unrelated rebills. I'm all for rebills, but burying signups for multiple other CPA offers in the fine print is going a bit too far, I think.

depends on the cut . i could give a shit about the payout amount, it's the EPC that counts. whitehat would lead to less bullshit though so that's a massive plus.

It all depends on longevity of the offer. If being less shady keeps the offer alive on Google, keeps the merchants going for longer, and making me more money in the long run, it could be worth it. For instance, Google money offers offered a quick buck, but people are getting their adwords accounts banned for it - If a non-Google offer converted similarly, but paid less, those same affiliates would be better off in the long run with those than with Google. Of course, it all depends on EPC.

The things is, a non shady offer that says "We will bill you $90 a month" in giant font on the order page will have extremely low conversions and EPC.
Unfortunately, the only way for us to get those $X.XX EPCs we like so much is to stick with shady offers.

Those shady advertisers don't give you any recurring monies though. They really should because EVERY affiliate would be promoting that one. |

Current rebill CPA is paid with an understanding of net present value. No affiliate has the patience to be losing money on a PPC campaign for two months waiting for their recurring rebill monies to come in.
