I figured since there's a cigar threat, let's go for beer.

What's your favorite or favorites? How about favorite mass produced or favorite microbrew? My favorite to get in a bar is probably this:

yeah owned by coors, don't care. It's not some Trappist fancy craft beer whatever but I like it.

drinking a budweiser american ale

I did a make your own six pack and stuck one of those in there since I hadn't tried it, how is it? I also got a Sam Adams Double Bock and Imperial White, two different Leinenkugels, and a beer from the Czech Republic

I'm not what you would call a beer connoisseur, but it tastes fine to me. Much better than the lager pisswater under the same brand. Maybe I'm just an ale man.

What about those of us that don't like beer?

My fav so far is Old Monk Rum, it's from india and nearly impossible to get in Canada or the States. Smoothest rum I've ever tasted.

this one comes to mind. it will knock you on your ass since it's 8% alc and yet it tastes awesome.

also i love the fact a bunch of frenchmen are flying over the devil on the packaging.

Maudite has a typically Quebecois name that is reminiscent of the legend of the Chasse-Galerie (the legend of the Flying Canoe). Legend has it that a group of lumberjacks struck a deal with the devil to fly home in their canoes, guided by Satan himself, to make it home in time for Christmas.

Take me to the Yard House and get me a sampler! My all time favorite is Affligem, a Beligian Beer that's not easy to find.

Same guys who make La Fin du Monde, right?

I will have to go with a local treat.

You must be from PDX area, then. That stuff is tasty. Loved splitting a pitcher of that and a pizza from Woodstock Pizza in Corvallis.

I've been digging Magic Hat lately. Especially #9.
