Checkthisout Caffeine-Free Jack3d Equiv?

I'm looking for a stimulant that can deliver the results that Jack3d seems to be giving people here, without the caffeine. Caffeine simply fucks me up and I can barely handle any of it, so 1/2 scoop of Jack3d and I'm sick to my stomach from the caffeine.

Trying to find something out there without having to go to the docs and get some Addy. And I saw that kid's success story and how much Jack3d helped him, I only want to achieve his status.

I too would like to know if anyone has found a natural alternative to Jack3d. I would love to be able to harness that level of mental focus but I worry about my alleged weak heart going out on me.

Multivitamin, 15,000% RDA super-strength B vitamins, Gotu Kola, high strength cod liver oil, feverfew, CalEm(Calcium/magnesium/cider vinegar), high strength Magnesium and Calcium, Coline plus Isotol, steel cut oats, vegetable juice, and then a little coffee in the morning. This will give you that mental burst and focus that you're wanting without the need of dangerous supplements.

Protein in the afternoon, and 3MG of melatonin 30 minutes before bed. Works for me, and I survive just fine on 6 hours of sleep a night (4 cycles), and still get all of my classwork and all of my marketing work done.

Nah, it's not that bad at all. Keep in mind, each bottle will last you anywhere from three to six months. That's about $200 total per half-year. $400 per year. Rate that against Jack3d and you'll see where I'm coming from.

Tim Ferris included some of the concentration stuff in his Brainquicken. Vinpocetine is supposed to work pretty well.

The key ingredient in Jack3d that actually helps you concentrate is 1,3 dimethylamylamine. You can get it is capsule form at bodybuilding.com and elsewhere. All of the focus/concentration/stimulant effects of Jack3d, none of the caffeine jitters or creatine water loss.

Definitely an improvement. Not as good as adderall, but still pretty effective.

these are a few my favorite health treats. obviously none will make you feel cracked out ballin but the ginseng vials or he shou wu can give you a nice lift. he shou wu definitely positively affects the sex drive. it is a close relative to japanese knotweed, the plant resveratrol is often extracted from for commercial supplements.

Going for the natural--
Have you tried coca tea? Coca tea (made from coca leaves) works for me. Before somebody asks, no it doesn't get you high, but it keeps you going. It's also legal in the U.S...

Also, have you tried yerba mate? It has caffeine, but it doesn't give you the jitters like coffeee or black tea.

After reading all the crap about it on this forum, I ordered Jack3d and 1,3 dimethylamylamine from Bodybuilding.com about a week and a half ago to compare.

FWIW - I am 28, female, 128 lbs and drink coffee or espresso (black, straight) regularly.

Jack3d:
Definitely gives you a strong 'tingling' sensation. I experienced this with previous rounds of SuperPump (I go to the gym. A lot.) but unlike SuperPump, didn't feel a bad 'withdrawal' or experience any heart palpitations. Bonus. I didn't drink coffee the first day I took it, I took one scoop (since I weigh less than the average male) and experienced increased productivity and energy days 1-2. By day 3, 1 scoop was not doing much for me beside the tingling sensation and after about 3-4 hours of the last dose I felt like I was crashing hard. Sleepy at 4 p.m. hard. This is unusual.

Took the weekend off- no supplements.

1,3 dimethylamylamine (Body Conditioning Solutions):
Started this on Monday w/ 25 mg. Again, no additional stimulants in the form of coffee or caffeine.

Noticed immediately that, unlike my normal ADD flipping back and forth between multiple screens / conversations/ twitter... I was completely monofocused on one thing and one thing only for about four hours. This was a total perk. No tingling sensation, no weird heart palpitations. I definitely experienced an increase in metabolism, which I wasn't expecting- felt hot in long sleeves and was unusually hungry by lunch. Tuesday same effect. Wed (yesterday), I took 25mg @ 9 and another 25mg around 1 p.m. This was a bit better for sustained concentration but the second round was markedly shorter than the first. This morning I took 50mg @ 9 and, as of this writing (12:30) I feel no effects whatsoever. Just warm/ high metabolism for about an hour and a half and I probably would have gotten a lot more coding done if my power hadn't gone out this morning.

In sum:

Jack3d may be more beneficial if used on an empty stomach. That definitely enhanced sensation. It may also be better if you are not used to a regular dose of stimulants in the form of caffeine or other. For me, the effect was minimal and the tingliness was distracting. The effects were also mitigated after 3 days of sustained use with an increasingly bad 'crash' of wanting to sleep and being utterly unmotivated about 4-6 hours after dosage.

1,3 dimethylamylamine, for actual concentration and focus (for those of us who aren't on adderall) was much better for me. In the future I may continue to use this product but will do so with a combination of regular caffeine intake and will probably reserve it (and, hopefully, its potent effect) for need-to-get-this-done now projects or end-of-the-month campaign work.

YMMV, of course, but this was my experience as someone who comes from a normal coffee-in-the-morning routine.

You mean you feel no side effects? Or no effect of the actual substance? Cause I would think 3 days is an awfully short amount of time to build a tolerance and would pretty much render it useless if that were true. I guess the way to test would be to go without it for a few days and see if you notice going back to a lack of focus.

Jack3d definitely had the fastest acceleration to tolerance of any supplement I've ever taken. I was hoping that 1,3 dimethylamylamine would be a more sustained 'focus' and in comparison to Jack3d it most certainly was. But, as a coffee drinker, I found the lack of caffeine probably dampened my ability to concentrate since I am used to daily caffeine stimulation.

Going forward- if I wanted the effect of 1,3 dimethylamylamine to sustain over time I would either:

a. Stop drinking coffee/ espresso altogether (after time, when your body gets used to not having that stimulus anymore it 'resets' and you don't get the crash you get if you are a regular coffee drinker without coffee), or
b. Take it in some combination with coffee.

I am going to try taking it tomorrow with coffee and I'll report back whether or not I find my concentration level sustained more consistently with the normal stimulus.

I didn't try working out with Jack3d... maybe I'll find that the tingly sensation is actually some form of NO booster and enhances performance in the weight room. I certainly wouldn't take Jack3d and do anything that greatly increases your heart rate- such as high-tempo cardio- but that's just me. Maybe my heart is more sensitive to stimulation than others.

The best comparison I can think of with Jack3d is somewhat similar to early versions of Animal Cuts I took in college- when it still contained Ephedra. I'm certain that if I had taken it with my normal amount of coffee I would have had the jitters.

Nah. I'm 5'8" and 3/4. That 3/4 is extremely important. I was almost 5"9 Damnit. Course if I was 5'9" and 3/4 maybe I would feel inadequate about not being 5'10".

But if I were to look on the bright side my back issues lowered me to 5'8 and 1/2 but with PT I've gotten my 1/4 inch back. Woot!

Just thought I'd update the thread with what I think of dimethylamylamine aka geranamine.

Got it this morning - looked like a fucking mail bomb but got some free dodgy looking pills and a pen so I'm happy.

The pills smell like cat piss btw.

Took one and for me it felt like extremely mild weed with a small burst of energy. It does give you tunnel vision and kinda makes you go indside you head. Took another one a while ago and didn't feel much at all, although I am getting a bunch done.

I find Jack3d better for going super speed and getting a metric shit ton of work done, but because you're buzzing away when it fades you crash.

With Geranamine I'm getting a decent amount done, just not as muched as Jack3d. It recommends on the pack not to take more than 4 pills in 4 hours, or 4 pills in 24 hours but I'll see how it goes. The really good thing with this copared to jack3d is that I'm not pissing like a racehorse every 5 minutes then drinking a pint of water becasue there's no creatine.

It does say that to aviod desentivisation to the effect you should't take more than 3 times a week, which is fair because if you've got to take this everyday you've probably got bigger problems than your workload

I'll take another 2 now.

Yep, my experiences are similar to that. Two capsules get me all mellow for 3-4 hours, and the effect fades very slowly. It's a pretty nice feeling, actually.

Productivity is up, but I seem to lose trains of thought easier than if I just drink coffee. On the other hand, distractions seem nowhere near as tempting as when high on caffeine.

I usually have a snack between lunch and dinner, but that didn't even cross my mind. Pretty strong appetite suppressing effect for me.

Also, I have a pleasant tingling sensation in some parts of the skin, which makes me think that getting a massage after two of these things might be worth trying out.

Recommended.

My capsules are 40 mg, and two of them are enough for me to get a decent effect. It says on the box that you shouldn't exceed 4 capsules in a 4 hour period and/or 4 capsules in a 24 hour period, so for your capsules I guess that means 7-8 of them.
How about popping 4 and then see what happens?

guys, the best way to increase productivity is to go for a run, like 1 to 3 miles, then do an intense 45 minute work out. Also, reduce your sugar intake and start eating healthy. Take breaks from your computer every 1 to 2 hours and eat a snack. Not only will you be 100% more productive then taking any stimulants, you will also feel great and be healthier.

If this sounds lame, it's coming from someone who used to take Adderall.. I can tell you.. I've been down that path.. The problem with adderall or other stimulants is the 'come down'. It fucks up your mind and over the long term (3 months+), your productivity will go WAY down. You will basically start to rely on adderall or the stimulant, and you will be unable to work for sustained periods without it. Then when you run out of adderall, you just think about how good it feels to take it and then your productivity just drops dramatically.

I can vouch for the 1,3 dimethylamylamine. Been taking off and on for about 3 weeks. It's subtle, no obvious side effects, but I do focus when I take them. Yesterday I decided to take two instead of one, though, and I think I might have crashed last night, as I was ridiculously tired. But that could have been from the Pilates workout and the almost 2 hours I spent on the treadmill. I will say that it does seem to clamp down on the appetite a bit though. That coupled with the workouts and I've lost 2 pounds. So there's potential in that department as well for anyone looking to lose weight.

Like Phillian, I worry a bit about the heart issues due to my family history but I am an avid coffee drinker so maybe that will have to be a factor in any tests. I'm going to order some and give it a try.

I usually meditate for 20 minutes before i sleep. Last night i had my longest and deepest meditation ever. 1 hour of deep concentration. Shit is working well for me

i'll second this, i'm doing 2-4x the work i was doing before. for the big hit though you need to learn how to work effectively. i'd recommend Eben Pagan's "Wake Up Productive". Awesome course, 6 months in and i will never look back. i did fully change my diet as well, no sugar or grains now. The trick is to keep your energy/blood sugar levels balanced all day. so eat little and often.

i've done 12 hours work today followed by 1 hour in the gym (HIIT cardio plus 30 minutes high intensity weights) now i'm going out drinking with the wife and am not tired at all. (funnily enough since the diet change i don't get hangovers anymore )
