I have a friend that is training to be a Fire Fighter.
He told me they have to put on 70 pounds of gear (don't ask me to convert to metrics please)
Then they have to crawl through a 100 foot tunnel (again ... no metrics ... I am an American and have limited measurement skills)
They fill the tunnel with smoke.
You have to worm your way through. It is so tight, you can barely pull yourself through with your hands and it is pitch black. They had to pull one fat guy out with a rope.

I can't imagine having to do this.
I would never want to become a fire fighter.
