Number of hours spent playing Wii before Mario: 9
Cost of Super Mario Bros: $5

Finding out that the best thing about the Wii is the fact that I don't have to give head to a gray cartridge for 30 minutes just to get the fucking game to work because the game is memory resident: PRICELESS

Hours spent playing Mario since purchasing the game: 22!

God I love the original Mario. I got my son Bower's Inside Story for his DS and it just isn't anything like a Mario game. None of them are.

I have every M.A.M.E., NES, sega genesis and SNES rom on my wii. No need to buy any from the wii marketplace. I play these a bunch.

Oddly enough about 2-3 days ago I started playing Super Mario Bros on the Wii too. We've been having some serious fun. Till then she pretty much only used it for the WiiFit.

Super Mario Bros FTW! I seriously love that game. It's got serious playability.

If you ever travel to a 3rd World City (Cairo, Mumbai, sometimes Athens) this is how they really *do* drive.

The difference being in Egypt it is the only way to cross the road and the drivers, who otherwise have no regard for lanes, signaling, stop signs, etc- pay attention to not hitting pedestrians (especially Western ones).

Yeah I grew up in SE asia, so I know what you mean. But the difference was I was never *driving* in it. I was always in the back seat of the cab and you get desensitized to the insanity that is the Asian Cab Driver.

Great guide here: Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!! Not bothered burning disks myself, just copy the isos to a USB HD.

Been getting into Call of Duty Modern Warfare on Wii lately, obviously not as pretty as other consoles but v playable. Odd as the last first person shooter I last really got into was Goldeneye... must be a nintendo thing.
