What can you accomplish in 47 days? Think about it and post it by Valentine's Day-Feb 14. Why Valentine's Day? That will start the countdown-47 days till I turn 47!

I'm starting this now (3:30 am) because I woke up at can't get to back to sleep and just because I don't have a date on Valentine's Day, maybe some of you do! So if you have plans for Valentine's Day, you can post what you can get done in 47 days early.

Tired of the drama here on WF? Quit posting on the drama filled threads! Find something else to post about. How about........set some goals, post them, get to work, post about what is working and what is not, post about your progress, and on April 2, I want to see a bunch of posts that start out with......"goals met"!

I want to hit $5,000. I'm in my second month right now (really the first, as I didn't start with anything serious until the 18th) and it looks like I'll break $3,000 in February. So there is some valuable advice in this forum and some of the members blogs!

I also want to launch two sites that I've been meaning to finish a looong time ago.

I like Jen's idea. I too have nothing to do for Valentines day. All this past weekend i found I was working on the two sites listed below.

My Goals:

1. Get 2008ElectionDebate.com - to a point where it is generating $$ and has good rankings with the search engines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I do see this site doing better and better as we get closer to the elections.

2. Moible Technology - iPhone, iPod, iTunes, Downloadable PC Games, and News - I would like to break off a couple of topics from this site and make them there own sites. I.E. - PC Downloadable Games, Travel and etc. I want to make each topic there own site. I think I can get better returns that way in both visits and $$.


So let me know what you all think about my goals. As for this week it is my goal ot get the election site up with all the profiles on them.

I want to profit at least $30,000.

Holy shit is what comes to mind every time I read a post that says my goal is $30,000 or $5000 or any number in-between that. When people talk like that it gives me so much more motivation to get right down to work simply because if people are making that kind of money then I should be able to hit my goal of a stable $2000 per month.

So thanks for this thread and here is my 47 day plan.

1) For the past two weeks I've had several niche markets in mind so now I'll start to work on those.

2) I'm taking a different road on this one, call it a trial period but I'm only going to work with blogs and not have all the powers of a fully functional webpage.

3) My goal for this 47 day quest will be $2,000 profit.

I'll let everyone know what I've been able to achieve and keep posting my updates.

My goals:

-Get started with affiliate marketing, using my arbi earnings as ppc investment in affiliate traffic

-start promoting a physical item that I think sounds promising ( good cheap traffic, high earnings, stupid people)and hopefully not fail horribly since promoting physical goods is probably harder than lead marketing

My first goal is to revamp my PPC/CPA project and implement the new tracking strategy I learned so I can actually tell which keywords are converting instead of guessing.

My second goal is to launch a second PPC/CPA program and turn a profit.

My third goal is to launch a SEO/Viral Marketing/CPA site. This one should be fun.

I don't focus on money goals. I'm still learning this stuff, so the value for me is in the journey. As long as I don't loose money, it's good for me.

It was a new years resolution of mine to write a newsletter every 2 weeks to my userbase to improve visitor retention rates. So far its been working and I would suggest this method to other members.

My goals for the next 47 day:

Internet Ventures:

• Launch group home project, Project NP, and project Confetti on April 2!
• Prepare my projects for launch, especially the group home project (I've had this idea for years, even before I got introduced to being an internet entrepreneur!)
• Do some writing for my own projects

Work:

• Maximize hours available at the group homes.
• Re-focus and get back on track with Jan's Writing Services
• Improve my working at home routine

Personal:

• Loose 10 lbs (I'm 5' 2" and weighing in at 139 lbs this morning)
• Start exercising
• Take care of myself better (eat better, take care of my skin, etc.)
• Get rid of clutter

Just took out a loan to outsource the building of 2 sites - hopefully have two of those up within 47days...

Have been talking to a programmer of a possibile partnership to develop a new mobile application...would like to get that started before 47days.

Have at least 1 good PPC Aff program up and running.

Expand my arb campaigns to break my $50/day streak - if I can get to $100 it will be great and shouldn't be hard since I still use 7shit only for traffic.

Find a new job - this one sucks - I doubt I will be able to start working full time for myself for a while, but I would love to get into a new day job that will make me more $$$ and support my business. Have a few interviews lined up - hopefully something sticks!

Ok, here are my detailed goals as also posted at my blog.

Project A
Project A is a pure moneymaking project. It is nothing illegal, just grabbing money from the dumb and dense.
Although pretty much a no brainer, it involves a lot of manual work, so I have been putting this off.
Should be finished mid to late march and start raking in $$ by end of April.


Current Status: Started design, started data collection.
Goal: Up and running.

Project B
Similar to project A this needs a lot of manual work, although considerable less.
Project B is only an idea, although the domain has been secured. Will need a design, content, advertising setup, etc..
Different from project A, this can be up and running with partial content.


Current Status: Secured domain
Goal: Up and running, 50% + of content, started marketing.

Project C
Project C are my two funblogs. The .de has been doing fine for some time now, but needs a software change (to Wordpress) and new content. A new design would not be amiss. The .com is set up in wordpress but also needs design and definitely more content.


Current Status: .com needs design and content, .de software and design
Goal: Installed WP on C.de and design on both. 15 posts for each.


Project D
Almost forgot about project D. D is the little site that could. Essentially an amazon front for moleskine notebooks, this ugly little duckling has been consistently earning its hosting costs and then some.
Time to update.
I’ve got some nice ideas for it, that I will also spin into an article for the gay forum I frequent.


Status: Needs an update, chucgging along nicely.
Goal: Update design and content, make article.
