I've got a foot long rat living under my living room floorboards.....if you guys have any questions about it....here is the place to ask.
Here are the basics: The rat moved in during the winter of 2007. It was a particularly cold winter, so I imagine the rat was looking for warmth. We had a tumultuous relationship at first...I tried poisoning him, flooding the floor, and even burning him out, but he's still here. I've now accepted him. His name is Rick. Good things to ask about: Hiding food on the counter, common rat poisons, techniques for prying up floorboards, cleaning up rat droppings. |

Back in my frat days we had multiple rats (not to mention hoodrats) coming into the house constantly (as well as mice and cockroaches). We usually took em out pretty rapidly but one time after poisoning a rat it seemed like that it died inside the wall and a putrid stench of death was near my door for about 3 months until it finally decayed.
How to avoid plz? |

Have you thought for a second that you could be an enabler in this relationship? Did you even once ask him if he had any priors, and if he's still using? For all you know, he's using your home as a hideout from the cat's he ripped off for that tainted cheese with that monopoly money.

No kidding,... although one would hope Rick's a Reformed BlackRat. Too bad he's not a cat cause "Reformed BlackCat" definitely had a better ring to it...
