Help Windows Vista problems - I can't use cPanel.

So, I bought a new computer yesterday, and, well, its running Vista.

Everythings been fine and dandy, except....I can't open any cPanel on it, neither on IE or FF.

WHM loads fine, but when I log into any given cPanel it merely stays loading for hours in FF and in IE it times out.

Any ideas? I know this isn't like a Vista forum or something but you guys are all pretty smart here.

Thanks in advance.

I dont think the problem would be with Vista? Im not really following you, how could Vista be the problem? Would be a browser issue.....

could be wrong, but I dont think it has anything to do with Vista, I use Vista on one of my computers, but dont use cpanel... Ill try to check out a cpanel demo tonight on a hosts website, but like I said I doubt thats the problem...

If you're running a firewall, you might want to check to see if it's blocking ports that are used by cPanel, such as 2082 or 2083.

cziffra has a good point, it could be a vista security setting
personally I'd get rid of vista and put something else on, but that's just me

Well yeah, I figured it'd be a firewall or security issue and nothing more, but I already disabled all of the gunk that comes with new computers and its still not loading...

I'll play around with it a little more, thanks for the replies!

It could be a mismatched SSL certificate. I've seen SSL cause all sorts of strange problems on windows.
