I'm asking because it's been a week since I sent my 50% deposit and he thanked me, and I haven't heard from him. I did get a response from him once saying he was away for mothers day weekend and would update me when he returned that day, but he never emailed.

I keep trying to contact him to no avail. I'm getting worried now.

I have hired him many times. I wouldn't worry, he always comes through. I can guarantee he isn't going to run off with your money.

You should know that he was in a car accident a few weeks ago and I'm sure things are hectic because of it.

Yeah he told me about the car accident, so while i'm pissed, I'm hoping he isn't suddenly braindead or something as a long-after effect of the crash.

I'm really glad to hear you've worked with him successfully many times. He seemed like a good guy and I'd rather not think badly of him. Thank you Max!

I hired him maybe 6 months ago to do a site, paid, and then never heard from him. I finally sent an email (after numerous, "Where are you?" emails went unanswered) that said I needed to file to get my Paypal deposit back and he promptly refunded.

It was a strange thing... I just wish he had said something - I am way beyond easy to work with on things like delays.

I hope he's okay from the accident!

Thanks for the info, Laura. I still haven't heard from him, even after requesting a refund of my $500 deposit.

I can't believe this. I guess he just doesn't give a crap about getting business by referral. Does anyone else have a testimonial of their experience with Anthony? It makes me sick and I wish I could do something about this!!

Thank you Anthony. By the way everyone, Anthony must have been so tired when posting above that he forgot to mention he's extremely ILL! So, that's why I haven't heard from him. Hell I'm just glad he wasn't in another car crash (not being sarcastic, was a bit worried since I last heard from him since he was on his way home from a trip).
