2nd Mail as a reply when i asked what the hell is going on

From: GoDaddy Abuse Department <abuse@godaddy.com>
Subject: RE: Fw: Domain Suspension Notice
To: "*******************
Date: Friday, 26 August, 2011

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your domain name, *******.***, has been suspended after Go Daddy received complaints from Internet users that they received unsolicited email messages (aka spam) from you.

Multiple warnings were sent by Go Daddy's Spam and Abuse Department to give you an opportunity to address the complaints we have received. These warnings were sent to the following addresses:

- The contact for your domain name, on 8/15/2011.

We did not receive a reply from you to these email warnings so we then attempted to contact you via telephone at the following numbers:

- The telephone number you submitted when you set up your Go Daddy account, on 8/25/2011. The phone rang over 10 times without an option to leave a message.

We had no choice but to suspend your domain name when you did not respond to our attempts to contact you.
-----
Go Daddy defines spam as a mailing sent to recipients, as an advertisement or otherwise, without first obtaining prior confirmed consent from the recipients before sending the mailing in question. Prior consent must be given to you directly from the recipients of your mailing for the specific domain name that you are advertising.

Go Daddy does not consider consent to be transferable. For example, simply purchasing, renting, or leasing an "opt-in" list from another company does not constitute proof of opt-in or prior consent. If you or another company are sending mailings advertising your domain name or website to individuals that have not requested this information from you directly, it is our opinion that you are spamming these individuals.

You can view Go Daddy's Anti-Spam policy by clicking on the "Anti-Spam Policy" link located on Go Daddy's "Legal Agreement" page. Click the following link to access Go Daddy's "Legal Agreements" page: https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/agreements.asp.

At this point you have two options available to you, each is outlined below:

----- Option # 1: Provide proof of opt-in.

Go Daddy has a strict anti-spam policy, Go Daddy customers are required to be able to provide conclusive proof of prior consent for any individual they send advertisements to. This also applies to the actions of any party that generates traffic on your behalf. This includes, but is not limited to, 3rd party marketers, business partners, employees, mailing list providers and affiliates.

We have supplied an example address from a complaint in order to allow you to investigate the situation and show proof of prior consent to receive your mailings. Proof of prior consent can be provided by supplying the information outlined below.

A. Provide server logs showing when the complainant connected to your site and subscribed, opted-in, or consented to receive marketing information from your organization. This information must include the following:

* Time/Date of opt-in/subscription/consent.
* IP address of the web server the complainant used to connect to your site.
* Referral URL.

B. Provide a detailed explanation of how the example email address was obtained, provide a copy of any confirmation messages, complete with header information, that this individual sent to you when they consented to receive marketing information from your company.

C. In addition to the information outlined above, please forward all contact information you have for this individual along with any other relevant information that you feel supports your claim of prior consent.

We will then investigate the validity of the information that you provide. The complainant located at the example email address may be contacted to verify and/or confirm any contact information or subscription details. If the information you provide checks out, we can probably consider this a situation where this person has forgotten they opted-in (a $75 administration fee* is required to reactivate your domain name).

The example address is: lastword@awishart.com, a copy of the offending email message has been included at the end of this message to assist you in your investigation.

----- Option # 2: Discontinue unauthorized mailing practices.

If you are unable to provide proof of opt-in and still wish to remain a Go Daddy customer and reactivate your domain name you must reply to this message with the following:

A. A statement that you will not send email advertisements or promotional mailings to any individual that has not previously requested this information from you or your company.

B. Authorization for GoDaddy.com to charge the credit card on file for your account a $199 non-refundable reactivation fee.*

-----
* Please Note: You may want to log into your Go Daddy account and confirm that the card on file is valid and has not expired

-----
Here is a copy of the offending email message:

From: Wendy Soto <joe@football-defense.com> [not the domain which was suspended nor mine]
Subject: Nice memories after my last trip together with Eddie Rawdin
To: lastword@awishart.com
Date: Thu, 11 Aug 2011 18:05:06 -0700

Alfie, I was traveling in Spain last week!

-----
Thank you for your cooperation, please let us know what option you decide to take. If you wish to discuss this situation via telephone Go Daddy's Spam and Abuse Department can be reached at 480-624-2505.

Sincerely,
Spam and Abuse Department

Important Points
1. I didnt sent any spam mails to anyone from my domain or whatever
2. They just rang me 10 times 1 day, at that time may be i was slept and cant figureout it was godaddy because i dont have godaddy abuse dept contact number saved in my cell []
3. Godaddy abuse Dept mail was came on my junk, i found after this issue

At the end
One morning you woke up and found your domain was suspended without any of your fault and godaddy asking $$$ with fucking clarification [what the hell clarification you can give? when you dont know who the hell done this] to reactivate your domain

BTW As far as i know this type of issue come to hosting provider depart not domain registrar.. right? or i am wrong? can any one give some words on this?

Nothing to see here. GoDaddy does this for like 1 spam complaint. Don't hold domains in a GoDaddy account. I thought everybody knew this?

Pay the BS extortion fee and move all of your domain names to a new company.

Consider it a $199 lesson in why not to use GoDaddy.

Ditch Godaddy. I hate them for their annoying preselling, and that combined with domain suspension issues are reasons enough to never use Godaddy.

Edit: I think AddisonDomains was also charged $xxx by Godaddy a few months back.

3rd Mail

Dear Sir or Madam,

As you are unable to provide proof of prior consent, you have the following 3 options available:

----- Option # 1: Discontinue unauthorized mailing practices.

----- Option # 2: Transfer the domain name and related services to another provider.

If you choose to transfer the domain name to another registrar, we first require that you pay a $75 administration fee before your domain name can be transferred. This fee is used to cover the costs of responding to or "cleaning up" the outstanding spam complaints Go Daddy has received regarding your domain name.

You will need to provide the following in your reply:

1. A statement that you will initiate the transfer of your domain name to a new registrar within the next 24 hours.

2. Authorization for GoDaddy.com to charge a $75 administration fee to the credit card on file for your account (you may want to log into your Go Daddy account and confirm that the card on file is valid and has not expired).

-----Option #Allow the domain name to remain suspended.

* Please Note: You may want to log into your Go Daddy account and confirm that the card on file is valid and has not expired
