Ticket system recommendations?

Used to use Kayako but it was a clumsy pain for the relatively simple system I needed.

Switched to Zendesk and it's been nice. I don't have to think about it; it just works. No headaches in 6+ months of use. Exactly how utility software should be, IMO.

I'm hearing good things about Zendesk too, it seems to be really popular compared to everything else I mentioned

Doing the same kind of research, Julian. Zendesk seems to be the clear winner.

There are, however, a few all-in-one solutions. Podio seems like a good option if you're interested.

Kayako here, just because I have it. I'd never pay their new prices, about 3x what I paid a couple years ago... insane.

Is Zendesk self hosted license or monthly? EDIT: Monthly or Yearly options... no "own" license.

+1 for Desk.com

Tried Kayako, Zendesk, RhinoSupport already. None worked as well as Desk IMO

Sup bro I have worked with Kayako for 2 years if you need to hire a worker to handle the tickets

Using freshdesk and it works well and if you only have 1 or 2 reps managing tickets it's very cost effective. Podio isn't really a good solution for this problem. It's a quirky system that allows you build whatever kind of form needed but it's limiting out of the box to make it do anything else like a workflow without some coding. Even then it's funky interface is a product that will make you crazy.
