Fuck Don't forget to live...

Just a reminder to everybody to not lose track of the point of life... living.
Go out, enjoy yourself. Don't sit behind your computer 24 hours a day. Go do something exciting, if you die tomorrow, would you be able to say you've done close to 1/2 the things you want to?

A friend of mine died yesterday. His birthday was friday, and saturday morning he tragically slipped in his bathroom and was declared brain dead at the scene. He was only 19.

Death can come at any time.

Don't forget to live.

sorry to hear about your friend. A friend of mine died three weeks ago when he tripped and his head hit the radiator causing a seizure which resulted in death, he was only 21. Sometimes sitting in front of your computer makes you forget that there's more to life than stats.

Sorry for both of your losses. I had a housemate die when I was 18, he had an undiagnosed heart condition and died of a heart attack at 21 years old. It changes perspective!

Life changes fast, I'm 46 and all my grandparents have passed away and both my parents. Our family spent a life changing 10 months while my son, Bob Schmuck, fought cancer (and won!). It doesn't take much to stay balanced......so just do it, plan in some fun and down time.

I just got back from a walk around the park with my daughter and I feel refreshed and motivated to get back to work on the computer. It's worth getting up early before the girls get up to get some work done on the computer.

This is just proof that you shouldn't leave your chair ever. I don't want to sleep and fall or trip and die. Forget that.

A good friend of mine became addicted to heroin. A few months later, in his own silent struggle, he ended his torment. He killed himself by jumping off a skyscraper.

My friends and I had no idea he was addicted, and therefore, didn't have the chance to help him before it was too late. No one even knew he was on heroin until the autopsy reports came back positive.

Something I think about every night: I wonder if he changed his mind halfway down...

He jumped on New Years Eve, 2002, just before midnight. He was 21.

I miss his stupid ass. He was a good guy. Just mixed up in the wrong shit.

Man sorry to hear about all the depressing stories.

However the one thing I find as a common thread among people that do really well at this business is they love it. And what is "Living Life"? To a lot of people building, testing, profiting, designing and figuring out the system is what life is all about.

I myself am skiing for two weeks in tahoe but I'm still working 7-8 hours a day because that's what I love to do.

So with all that said my question for you is are you doing this "Just" for the money? If your answer to that is yes I suggest you find something else to do that you love. This will always be a struggle if you don't love and enjoy doing it.
