Teamspeak is clearer and uses less server resources. I have a couple for some clans. It's pretty easy to setup. It's not too hard to tie into vBulliten either. I haven't, but I've been in clans that do.

Yea, I've used ventrilo for similar reasons but I'm sure teamspeak would work good to.

All we need are like 1 or 2 mods to ban the noobs that spam and then have private rooms. I dunno if you can do that on teamspeak.

Yeah, you can ban someone for up to 10,000,000 seconds. That's about 115 days. You don't just ban the IP they are on though, it bans the software used to connect itself. Each software has a unique key - so even if they swapped IPs they still couldn't connect.

And yes, you can have private rooms, put a talk-level and password permission on them so only certain ranks can talk or join. You can do a ton of stuff with Teamspeak.
