| Suggestion Box Have feedback on how to make the forum better? Well, chances are pretty good we won't read it, because this is just here for show to pretend that we "care". But maybe by some chance one of our mods will be bored enough, look at it, and use the idea. |

hey,
I don't know if other vendors are facing this as well, but I really feel that pm'ing is really slow taking into account the 1 min waiting time there is between 2 pms. I mean yeah I know this is being done to prevent spamming but I guess reputed vendors can have their PM'ing time reduced to 30 sec or Max 10 secs. Usually when I wake up I get around 20 Pms and it takes around 40-50 mins to answer all those PMs. I was wondering if my suggestion is viable and some quantum steps can be taken into this matter. |

I'd request other vendors as well (reputed) to share their views into this. |

I'd agree. Although I don't wake up to 40 messages everyday there are many times when I need to simply send several messages to users which are the same or the response is as simple as a Paypal email address.
A way to fix this may be starting a vendors group, or after a user receives a certain number of iTraders, posts, or time on the site the timeout between PMs becomes less (i.e. after 10 iTraders it's reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds, after 20 iTraders it's reduced more, etc). There are users who stop in from time to time to try to abuse this place by selling their quirky ebooks or obvious methods but if Wicked Fire set the standards high enough to qualify for reduction in PM timeout time I highly doubt it would be abused. Good thread, glad someone brought this up. Edit: I'd like to make it clear the only reason I used iTrader as the primary standard was because the original poster was discussing his problems responding to his clients as a vendor here on Wicked Fire. Nothing against the rest of the community who is incredibly active but has little to no iTrader feedback |

I just hope this problem is given some due importance. I am sure many many vendors are facing the same problem to this. Specially when it comes to people asking for any type of free samples in the thread itself. It's a headache to Pm 20 guys in more than 30Mins!!

Definitely a pain in the ass. Makes PM completely unreliable for business.
I'd also pay for a larger mailbox. I had to delete ~400 client PMs the other day to clear up space for new ones, which I'm less than thrilled about.

I would have to agree.
I haven't been doing much promotion lately due to creating a new user interface for NPP. But it does suck that you can only reply so many times. There should just be a spam button next to each mail that way we can press it for that unwanted mail |

They never have I guess. Only thing possible is to spread the word like I did, and managed to get that many post to quickly. So I would shout out to all the vendors to look into this mattar and post your opinion. Maybe the mods might see this as a red alert sign..lol

My PM box is still 95% full although I try to delete messages almost everyday. We definitely need a larger Pm box and the waiting time can be reduced too. In order to avoid spamming, this facility can be given to members after a certain amount of posts in WF. Say, around 500-1000 posts should be good enough.

Thanks for the time reduce. For those of you that were talking about deleting messages and may not know; you can export selected messages as a CSV so you don't have to lose your correspondence with clients. It's in the bottom right of the PM screen.
