Suggestion Box Have feedback on how to make the forum better? Well, chances are pretty good we won't read it, because this is just here for show to pretend that we "care". But maybe by some chance one of our mods will be bored enough, look at it, and use the idea.

Question Sticky's

Just a thought and I had mentioned something about this during my temp. ban months ago.

For the sticky's that you want everyone to be aware of and in the event of updates to those sticky's is there a system that you can employ to make sure that every member reads the sticky (or at least acknowledge that the message about the sticky or update was received)...

I think that most of us that have been on forums know that sticky's exist and are important but for some of those "critical" ones that you need everyone to abide by then there should be something within the infrastructure of this forum that can verify that members have read what you wanted them to so that people aren't being dismissed on a whim.

This is the place for ideas so I'm putting that one on the table. I don't have any problem being a part of this solution but with some of us getting caught up in the crossfire due to the changes within the system something should be done to address this.

Thanks.

Great idea, but I doubt it will be implemented. If you look at most of the stickies in the forums (especially the SBT section) they're stickied for a reason. Just take the 2-3 minutes to read the initial post in the sticky thread.

That's what I do at least.
