it has something to do with the load balancing of the script.

for example, when i log in, what i typically do is mouse-wheel click (in Firefox) every new thread i want to read so it opens up in a new tab. if i do it quick enough, it happens. its usually around 2-3 pages loading simultaneously that, if its going to occur, it'll occur.

also, around the time I started receiving these problems, Jon announced changes to the load balancing to prepare for influx of new users after summer.
