I did (and do) have my quarrels with Jon off and on. His attituder is lacking in some parts, but I have come to realize that this forum does not revolve around him.

I even let myself be named the noobie guide and am working hard to help.

Yes 35$, or in this case 70$ is nothing that warrants "measly" attached to the name, as it could buy me around 7 domains for a year, and I am with you as far that Jon should give it back, because there has been no delivery of goods or services as promised.

The thing I am not with is the whining. Stuff like this should rarely be brought into the forum, there is PMs and AIM for that and yes, you can bring this into the forum but only after EVERYTHING else FAILS REPEATEDLY.

So there is two sides to this:
Jon: Pay up.
Scuba: Make sure he pays up, fill his email and PM box and pester him with AIM messages constantly. Then shut it.

as for me I am not whining, just saying I KNOW it's more than just me he promised the 3 free months to after he failed to come through on his first promise, most are afraid to speak up and get banned. All I know is he set a deadline to start charging for the extra shit and didnt miss that by 1 min. but when it comes time to give you what you paid for it's another story. All in all if I dont see my 3 free months or the site improvements before its time to pay again I will cancel........mabey even try a paypal chargeback, if enough people do that paypal might see it our way.

As for the 3 free months thing (the one until March 2008 right?), I could've sworn after reading this thread that the paid subscription forum idea was nulled. There's a Premium Business Section, so I'm guessing that thats the section you're getting access to if you're still paying:

The Paid Section Concept is dead. The only paid forum left is the Premium Business Area. The "Premium Membership" sign that sits beneath the ad is to be overlooked....(like the ad :P). Other than that I don't know what else to tell you. Unless there was something said in the Premium Business area, but if that was the case, I'd expect this thread to be opened over there. *shrug*
