Question Jobs/Services section

Often I'm looking for labor to do projects and honestly it's hard to weed through the Buy/Sell section. I suggest making new section and splitting out the people that offer services like submissions, templates, landing page design, coding work, etc etc.... as I'd definitely prefer to use a WF guy for my jobs then someone off scriptlance. Seems quite a pain to weed through the people selling domains, traffic, sites, etc

Just a suggestion let me know what you think.

Yeah, agreed. The directory submissions and domain sales overtake the section often.

I agree. I never thought I'd say this, but DP has a fine example of a good, well categorized buy and sell section.

Yeah you guys are right, I never thought people would use that area so often until recently I guess. We sure as hell don't want it to get too popular with all of the scammers though.

We have a site called Project Spark that Stanley is almost done with, that solves the programming, designer, services type of issues. It was made so we could make sure that WF service providing members get more work sent to them vs some random newbie who makes a few posts and then thinks they are entitled to the same benefits.
Brandon or Stanley will add the other sections for you guys.

Any specific areas of interest/sections you want us to add? Post them here and we'll get on it. I just don't want it to be TOO categorized, because then it becomes tough to monitor for our Mods, and then people end up posting in the wrong areas, or only the areas with heavier amounts of views.

I def. think these areas should have their own categories:

1. Content

2. Scripting/Programming

3. Design (LP, creatives, etc.)

These are all things I've personally had to go to other forums to get.

EDIT:

You know what would be cool, is a way to actually show how many projects the freelancer is currently working on at the time. So, when a project is awarded, it shows as a project being worked on until completed. This way, the employer who needs the job done ASAP can avoid relying on someone who's swamped to crank out the project.

I agree with CorrectAD on the categories. Adding "Domains/Existing sites" and "SEO Services" (for directory submissions, stumbles, etc.) I think would round it out.

I'm not sold on the idea of showing the number of projects currently being worked on. Some developers are more experienced and can handle the load especially if they don't have a day job. This would also hurt those that have a team of developers beneath them.
