WickedFire needs a rss feed
I desperately need a rss feed of this forum .

VB usually offers external.php as the RSS feed. Is the WicketFire rss turned on ?

I'm sure there are 092734093284098230498203948 VB plugins to generate rss feeds... if it's not already built in. I know I'd add it to my feeds. It couldn't hurt, you might as well do it.

I use rss a lot to check on forums and see what interesting posts are around and to see if it is worth coming back to post etc. I would have thought a lot of web savy visitors (like those on this forum) would as well?

This forum is getting so busy with new posts that an RSS feed would really be good.

It's possible that Jon is worried about traffic, thinking people would read the feed and not come to the site, but the opposite may be true. People still have to click through to read the whole post or to comment. If I could add the feed to my RSS reader which I scan every morning looking for something to blog about, I would probably catch more topics here that I want to come and jump into.

I turned on the RSS feed for my forum and just posted it in one place and don't advertise it for the reason I listed above. I'm almost ready to put an RSS link on the home page just to see if it helps traffic. I think it actually may.
