A nice definative SEO guide would be nice, a NO BS guide any bullshit or misleading information should be deleted from the guide. Stimey or whatever the hell his name is over at Sitepoint wrote a decent SEO guide, but the problem I have with that is he is not the be all end all of WH SEO, which SP members make him out to be.

Joes right this thread should be moved to the right forum area.

I got free SEO tip for you. Make a normal html page with normal html code with all params and good navigation.

It's so damn funny when I see these "write your keywords in title and alt tags!!1" posts. What do you think those titles and alt tags are for? It's pointless to try to beat Google. The only goal should be to beat your competitor in Google. All you need to do is to think what's best for the user. That's WH SEO.

For BH.. well, let's just say that fantom rocks and I love my PHP

Make a definitive guide thread and I'll sticky it if it gets the volume of responses and activity that the others have recieved in a short period of time. A new section for anything really is out of the question.

I'm up for the challenge. It'll be a few days though, as I'm not just going to throw up some shit. Plus, a "definitive" guide will run much longer than the allotted 10,000 characters allowed per post.

I found a neat tip today. Make a table with background images in each cell and then stuff the cell with your keywords that are the same color as the image.

I have better one. Make 1px background IMAGE and match the text color with that... make a table, insert the pic to the background and tadaa.. you have your very own hidden text!
