NEW Facebook Ads

First off if you are getting a ctr of .3+ you should be bidding CPM not CPC.

Next, if you have a campaign that has a daily budget of $25 but has a "ongoing" end dating, facebook is going to take there time in getting you any traffic. A easy way around that is to set a end date 1 hour out, this way facebook ads will try to eat up as much of the budget before the time runs out (it seems like its a priority type thing, if you set your budget to run on for a month, facebook will get the people's ads that are set to run out the fastest so they get as much money as they can).

that might have worked several months ago.

CPC = Better CTR than CPM.

I had an ad that was getting .3+ CTR, once i switched that shit to CPM.

BAM! 0.05% mothefucka!!!

Bids still low here.

Out of all the new ads I submitted, only two got approved. I got several thousand impressions on the two ads, but like literally no clicks. Just one of the ads got a click, and that cost me 3c. This is on creatives that I've ran that I know yield a good CTR. So I'm not too sure why I would see 6,000 impressions with no clicks.

I'm going to resubmit some more ads, but bid higher than the suggestion rate.

seeing lots of random untarged international traffic for the last few days. Losing about 10% of clicks.

So it goes with FB

I'm assuming you're looking at your P202 logs? If so, which section can you find (on P202 Self-Hosted) can you find where your visitors are coming from?

(I know I can analyze IPs, but is there a quicker way I instead of doing a reverse DNS on each IP)??

Hey guys,

I've built many dating campaigns on Facebook lately, I'm finding that I definitely can create some winners but to my despair, I can't have these campaigns profiting consistently. I had campaigns where I spent 4 figures daily doing well for a week, maybe 2 but then bam, the EPC is getting lower and lower until I stop making any profit.

I'm trying to add new ads, add new pics and stuff like that but I'm finding that only the best pics gives me a low CPC and they also take all the traffic, so basically, I can hardly rotate my ads. I've been able to stop my campaigns, relaunch them 2 weeks ago, run them to try for one week, pausing it for 2 weeks, etc..

Do you guys have the same kind of problem with your campaigns? What do you do with them? Btw, my targets are usually between 100 and 300k.

Do you split-test the offer against other networks? Also, do you notice this happening across all offers (even from other advertisers)?

I'm half in the bag, but this doesn't seem right. Never changed my bid above $0.40 from the get go. Not to mention 10% of traffic is from countries I didn't want to target and who knows what other demos.

How can your avg. CPC be HIGHER than your max bid? What demo were you targeting?

Here's a shot of one of my ads from today:

uh ya i see this all the time, on the high end and on the low end. its your "suggested" bid, remember that

Shit, sorry about the nsfw image. Let me fix that.

The CPC you set is the max you are willing to pay.
"You will never be billed more than your maximum cost per click or the maximum CPM that you have specified."

regarding split testing same offer on different networks: so glad i took that advice...after a 3 day trial, i am getting .35 EPCs on the suspect network and .60 epc on the new network! definite scrubbing going on here. im going to drop out of the other network after my next big payment so they dont suspect...fucking fuckers.
