Things you automate...

I also automate a lot of personal shit (like sending messages on CouchSurfing and downloading pictures / videos from an unspecified site).
I actually need a clue on how to automate downloading all the pictures from one particular site, can you guys point me to the right direction? Is there a software already out for this? Thanks

Here's what I automate --

1. Domain Name Research
2. Market Niche Research
3. Finding Sites / People in Niches
4. Keyword Research
5. Content Scraping
6. Sorting out Data from Various Sources
7. Blog Comment Posting
8. Some random SEO shit
9. Twitter!! It's Made for Bots. :D
10. Setting Up Wordpress Sites ( + autoblogs)
11. Account Creation on Social Sites
12. Social Bookmarking, bitches!

That is the stuff I actively automate. I also automate a lot of personal shit (like sending messages on CouchSurfing and downloading pictures / videos from an unspecified site).

Lets see what all you guys find yourself automating every single day.

Thanks on the information of what you do, I myself made a YouTube friend adder and a forum spammer to increase post counts.

Mainly keyword reserach and comp analysis with my meagre programming skills, but I've got a few ubots for wordpress setup etc. Once you start to build up a library of ubot subs (similar to functions) putting together bots becomes even quicker.

damn that's a lot of automation. I'd really love to get Ubot, how hard is it to learn? i have basic understanding of code and such, and i watched one of the vids on their webiste simple stuff looks easy, is the good stuff hard to learn?

If you have any coding at all, (srsly, any language) uBot is a breeze to learn.

I'm constantly uBotting. Every single day, really. There seems to be no end to what I want to automate, and uBot plus some javascript functions have handled my needs every single time.

Some stuff I've botted:

1. Setting up RICH wordpress blogs. (30+ plugins, themes, self-promotion, all configured w/ 1 bot!)
2. Server rollouts & updates.
3. Stats tracking; even daily reports automated with all income at a glance.
4. Keyword Research.
5. Monetizer trade-outs. (Switch from CJ to Adsense across 200 blogs in minutes... Etc.)
6. Content Scrape/repurposing/generating. (This is actually fun)
7. Domain & Niche research.
8. PPC management
9. Tons of different Backlink Builders. (Best one based off google alerts)
10. HellBlazer Antagonizer. :jester:

Can anyone give me an idea of what they're doing to automate kw research? Does that just mean using a tool to scrape kw lists, or do you mean actually finding keywords that fit certain criteria like number of searches and number of exact matches, etc?

I was gonna ask this same question

A few points of reference about keyword research that have helped me.

If you haven't, spend an hour watching the keyword tutorials at Market Samurai. I don't use the software but they produced some kickass videos that are as basic as it gets on the benefits and varieties of keyword research.

Google adwords, even if you haven't or don't use it, has some very nice keyword research tools that can introduce you to the benefits and also are fun to play with.

There's basically two ways I've seen people use UBot to build bots for keyword research - one acts like google's wonder wheel (RIP), and determines possible other keywords based on keywords you input. The other acts as a scraper and actually checks out sites for the number of times keywords appear etc.

Both are probably pretty easy to build. We are preparing to release a promotional keyword tool in the coming week or so - I'll let the thread know when it's ready!
